Doxycycline + Trimethoprim
Doxycycline + Trimethoprim is a combination medication used to treat various infections caused by various susceptible organisms. Doxycycline is a protein synthesis inhibitor while trimethoprim is a folate antagonist.

- Actinomycosis
- Amebiasis
- Anthrax
- Anthrax Prophylaxis
- Bacterial Infection
- Bartonellosis
- Bronchiectasis
- Bronchitis
- Brucellosis
- Urinary tract infection
Follow physician's order.
- it should not be given to children aged less than 18 and in adults
- it should be reserved for infections that are not treated by other antibiotics.
Contraindication
Contraindicated in patients hypersensitive to doxycycline or other tetracyclines such as-
