Dextran 70 + Hypromellose is indicated for the relief of dryness, burning, and irritation of the eyes caused by various factors such as wind, sun, heating or air conditioning, reading, computer use, and other environmental factors. It is also indicated for use as a lubricant to prevent further irritation or to relieve discomfort caused by contact lens wear.

The dosage and administration of Dextran 70 + Hypromellose depend on the patient's age and the severity of the condition. The usual dose for adults and children over 6 years of age is 1 or 2 drops in each affected eye, 3 to 4 times daily, or as directed by the physician. For children under 6 years of age, the use of this product should be under the supervision of a physician.

Adverse reactions to Dextran 70 + Hypromellose are uncommon. The most common adverse reactions reported include temporary blurring of vision, burning or stinging sensation in the eyes, and eye redness. Less common adverse reactions include eye discharge, eye pain, eye irritation, and allergic reactions.

• Dextran 70 + Hypromellose is for topical ophthalmic use only and should not be ingested.
• Do not touch the tip of the dropper to any surface, including the eye, as it may contaminate the solution.
• If the condition worsens or persists for more than 72 hours, discontinue the use of the product and consult a physician.
• Contact lens wearers should remove their lenses before using this product and wait at least 10 minutes before reinserting them.
• Patients who experience allergic reactions to any of the ingredients in Dextran 70 + Hypromellose should discontinue its use immediately and seek medical attention.
• The safety and efficacy of this product in pregnant and breastfeeding women have not been established. Therefore, it should be used with caution in these patients.
